Ann Elizabeth Shires is the daughter of William Shires and Sarah Ann Moore. She was born on the 3 jan 1850 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. She was married to Richard Fowler Jr. around the year 1871. Together they had five children:

Ann died of pneumonia on 25 Feb 1881 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. She is buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, plot E, block 4, lot 4. Her gravestone can be viewed here.
