Joseph Samuel Adams son of Joseph Samuel Adams and Eliza Caroline Woodward. He was born on 13 Aug 1862 in London, England. According to a british census in 1881 when Joseph was 18, he lived in the home of Willam and Francis Jennings while working as a Carman. When he was 19 he immagrated to America. he left on the ship Nevada which left Liverpool on 16 May 1883 and arrived in New York on 28 May 1883. From there he moved to Ogden, Utah.
On 22 Feb 1886 Joseph married Ada Robinson in Logan, Cache, Utah. Together they had 6 children:

Joseph died on 1 Feb 1936 in Shelley, Bingham, Idaho. He was buried on 4 Feb 1936 in the Hillcrest Cemetery (AKA Shelley Cemetery). His headstone can be viewed here.
