Emil Thomas Rieck is the son of Karl August Rieck and Hulda Yenika (or Jenika). He was born on 21 Nov 1877 in Stettin, Germany. On 5 Aug 1903 he was married to Ellen Amelia Boden. Together they had six children:

Ernest Littlton Rieck 11 Nov 1908
Emil died on 22 May 1948 in Albion, Boone, Nebraska. He is buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery with his wife. Their headstone may be viewed here.
