Karl August Rieck is the son of Gottlieb Rieck and Mrs. Gottlieb Rieck. He was born 20 Jan 1850 in Brandenberg, Adamsdorf, Prussia. He was married to Hulda Yenika (or Jenika) on 12 Sep 1870 in Adamsdorf, Brandenburg, Prussia. Together they had ten children:
