Adolf William Rieck

Adolf (or Adolph) is the son of Karl August Rieck and Hulda Yenika (or Jenika). He was born
9 Jan 1875 in Pommern, Stettin Stadt, Germany. He and his family left Germany when he was eight years old.
They travelled on the ship "Eider" and arrived in New York on the 25 April 1884. A little more background on the "Eider": It was in service from 1884-1892. It had 2 funnels and 4 masts. It was part of the North German Lloyd shipping line. A physical description is as follows:

Adolf was married to Anna Dorthea Yeager (or Jager) on 18 May 1898 in Primrose, Boone, Nebraska, USA. Together they had three children:

Adolf died on 4 Jan 1962 in Primrose, Boone, Nebraska, USA. He is buried with his wife in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, Boone, Nebraska.
