Toye Davis (sometimes spelled Toy) is the daughter of John Roan Davis and Mary Angeline Goble. She was born 16 June 1900 in Rush Springs, Grady, Oklahoma. She was married to James Wesley Brown on 11 September 1918 in Rush Springs, Grady, Oklahoma. Together they had two boys:

Toye died in March of 1983 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma, 39 years after the death of her husband.
